The Central Library with a seating capacity of about 7,200 users was opened in August 2014 at the permanent site (Main Campus)of the Airport Road. It serves all the staff and students of the faculties of Art, Science, Management and Agriculture that are located there. The old library, called the Mini Campus Library, was established along with the parent organization in 1988. The library serves staff and students of the faculties of Education and Social Sciences. A functional and service-oriented library should be the largest single resource of a university. Its pride of place should be reflected both in its architecture and collection of books and journals. The database includes over 2.4 million records and covers 1637 to the present. It is produced by ProQuest and was formerly known as ProQuest Digital Dissertations.
  • JSTOR is a digital library founded in 1995. Originally containing digitized back issues of academic journals, it now also includes books and other primary sources, and current issues of journals. It provides full-text searches of almost 2,000 journals.
