Aim and scope Journal of Development and society is a special journal with a specialty in social science and humanities for a local and international readership. Its primary aim is to publish original research and review articles that provide the same links between research and development efforts that aim at addressing the crucial development needs of Nigeria, Africa, and the world at large.
Editorial policy Published quarterly, the Journal of Development and society considers for publication, articles from all disciplines in as much as they are concerned with tackling any aspect of development in the society. The journal’s editorial board receives articles and arranges for review by qualified and experienced review editors, which consist of scholars of varied backgrounds and expertise. All articles submitted to the board are assumed not to have been submitted elsewhere for publication. They are consequently subjected to a serious analytical and thorough editorial review and assessment by the journal’s Editors/Editorial advisory board members. Articles are accepted for publication only if appropriate advice/recommendation is given by a minimum of two reviewers. The decision to publish rests squarely on the shoulders of the Editorial board.
