The Acting Vice- Chancellor, Professor Patricia Manko Lar, has received a delegation from the Zhengzhou University and Shenzhen University, both from China, as part of the University’s existing agreement on staff and faculty exchange with both universities. 

The parties discussed further areas of partnership with the University's Architecture programmes.

Lar lauded the collaboration, charging the team to come up with designs that would address some of the environmental challenges confronting the nation.

Members of the delegation from China include Professor Cao Dee from the University of Zhengzhou, and Associate Professor Tong Jong from Shenzhen, and Mr Stephen Zhou of Huawei Nigeria. 

The delegation was led to the office of the vice-chancellor by the Head, Department of Political Science and International Relations, Professor Ghali Ibrahim Sheriff; Dean, Faculty of Environmental Sciences, Professor Abdullatif Bako, and Head, Department of Architecture, Dr Abdulraheem Olakanbi.
