VC CONDOLES KWARA STATE GOVERNOR OVER FATHER'S DEATH

The Vice-Chancellor, University of Abuja, Professor Abdul-Rasheed Na'Allah, has condoled with Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of Kwara State on the demise of his father, Alh. Abdulganiyu Folorunsho Abdul-Razaq. Alhaji Abdulganiyu who was the first lawyer in northern Nigeria, former Chairman of Body of Benchers, and Mutawali of Ilorin, passed away in his sleep on Saturday, 25th July 2020. Prof. Na'Allah, who is the pioneer Vice- Chancellor of Kwara State University described the death of the governor's father as one of the greatest losses for Ilorin, Nigeria and the world. According to the Vice-Chancellor, the late Minister and topmost advocate had contributed so much to the nation, and to Ilorin in particular, including the former Ilorin College Ilorin (ICI), now Government High School (GHS), Ilorin.
He said the late diplomat was a lover of his people and community, who should be emulated by every Ilorin man and woman. Professor Na'Allah prayed Allah to forgive the deceased, bless him with Aljannat alfirdaus, and continue to give good health to his wife, Alhaja Raliat Abdulrazaq. He also prayed Allah to strengthen the children and grandchildren of the deceased, and console all the people of Ilorin, Kwara State and Nigeria over the loss.
